AfriEDX Technology LTD, a Mauritian start-up and a finalist in the category of EduTech, attended the Southern Africa Start-up Awards 2019 from 27-28 November 2019, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The SaSAwards goes far beyond just an Award Ceremony. It is in fact a platform where start-ups learn a lot, share ideas, strengthen their network and meet potential investors.

In particular, AfriEDX had the opportunity to share photos and video-production skills for the benefit of all attendees.  The event provided a great window to showcase the celerity of delivery of any type of services. Consequently, it is clear that everyone at any level can proactively contribute to the development of Africa as well as its competitiveness in the global economy.

Under the inspired leadership of McKevin Ayaba, CEO Regional Founder and CEO of Global Start-up Awards – Southern Africa, SaSAwards may well become THE event of Africa for the years to come.

We extend a big Thank You to Zakiya Buhora, our SaSAwards Mauritius country-partner for all her support during the event.

Congratulations to all the award winners and to our two Mauritian laureates. First, Joseph Rutakangwa, winner of  the Brave Founder of the Year award. Joseph Rutakangwa is the founder of Rwazi, a start-up which provides companies with live data on the availability, visibility, and pricing of their products versus competition at traditional retail outlets, to optimize distribution and drive sales. The Best Student Start-up award was presented to Roomscout, the first student-centred hospitality company based on the island.

In this age of digital economy, quality production of pictures and videos of every activity and special ceremonies is vital for organizers during events embracing the magnitude of SASAwards.

AfriEDX was there, equipped and ready, to capture the key activities and ceremonies as they were unfolding. Videos were edited and shared on the spot for the enjoyment of all attendees as well as for immediate communication, for PR and for the marketing of SaSAwards.

Thank you François Mark. Your creativity and quickness to do things are indisputable. Thank you for giving SASA an experience at the Grand Finale.

That was the fastest photo and video production I’ve seen during an event.
